I had an opportunity to go to the Langhe wine region in Piemonte. Â One of the stops was of course Barbaresco. Â The top of the tower in the middle of the town, Torre di Barbaresco, offers great views of the river Tanaro and the surrounding vineyards. Â Southeast of the river are Barbaresco and Barolo DOCGs, where predominantly the red grape Nebbiolo is grown. Â Northwest of the river is the Roero DOCG, where predominantly the white grape Arneis is grown. Â Please checkout the video below for shots from the tower.
