Cantina Vecchia Torre, located in the heart of Salento in Leverano, produces outstanding wines from indigenous grape varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Malvasia Nera. My friend Jeff and I enjoyed a relaxed tasting at the winery and were impressed by the consistently high quality of its wines. While the region is best known for its exceptional reds, it also crafts excellent sparkling, white, and rosato wines, offering something to suit every palate.
