Michele, Maya and I had a a memorable wine tasting at Lipovac Winery, a hidden gem nestled in the mountains above Lake Skadar in the village of Građani, Ljubotinj, Montenegro. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, Lipovac Winery is known for producing exceptional wines from both indigenous and regional grape varieties. During our visit, we sample wines made from Morava, Gigiac, Vranac, and Kratošija —grapes that showcase Montenegro’s rich winemaking heritage and distinctive terroir. From crisp whites to bold reds, every glass offers a taste of the country’s unique wine culture.
