Michele, Maya, and I spent a beautiful evening enjoying a wine tasting with food pairing at Abaia Winery in Durrës, Albania, where we sample a selection of locally produced wines and traditional Albanian spirits. During our visit, we taste wines made from White Shesh (Shesh i Bardhë), Red Shesh (Shesh i Zi), and Sangiovese grapes, along with Albanian raki, the country’s beloved fruit brandy.
