Michele, Maya, and I spent a beautiful evening enjoying a wine tasting and food pairing in the vineyards of this winery near Durrës in northern Albania. We sampled wines made from the local White Shesh and Red Shesh grape varieties, as well as a locally grown Sangiovese. We also tasted traditional Albanian Raki, distilled from the same grapes.
